HISPANIC BUSINESS ALUMNI (HBA)

2007-2008 Undergraduate Scholarship Application

Cash Awards

· Arizona resident or non-resident

· Full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the ASU W. P. Carey School of Business or another ASU business program, applying for Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year

· Minimum of 12 credit hours completed at ASU

· Cumulative ASU GPA above 2.5

· Recipients must earn a minimum of 24 credit hours during the academic award year specified

Tuition Scholarships

Same criteria as cash awards plus:

· Legal resident of Arizona (In-state only)

· No other tuition scholarships for the 2007 – 2008 academic year

· Cumulative ASU GPA as follows:

Ø Sophomores 2.5 & above

Ø Juniors 3.0 & above

Ø Seniors 3.0 & above

Department of Economics Cash Award

Same criteria as cash awards plus:

· Designated for undergraduate Economics major, applying for Junior or Senior year

· Admitted into the professional program

· Completed ECN 313 & 314 prior to the Fall Semester 2007

· Minimum Economic GPA and ASU GPA of 3.00

Last Spring, HBA was pleased to award scholarships to Hispanic business students based on academic achievement , extracurricular activities, community involvement, and financial need.
