Program operations

Orientation
Your W. P. Carey experience begins with program orientation prior to the start of your program. You'll meet your fellow students and teammates, as well as W. P. Carey faculty and staff, preparing you for a seamless start to graduate school.

Career paths in supply chain management
This program teaches the technical elements of data and modeling, purchasing and procurement, and logistics to help graduates understand how to manage not just the flow of products, but also the processes that generate them. Possible job titles and roles may include any of the following.
Supply chain manager
Oversee the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers.
Procurement agent or analyst
Research, compare, and analyze potential products and services from suppliers for an organization.
Operations analyst or consultant
Analyze data to identify inefficiencies or areas of improvement for operations. Help companies optimize their processes and improve overall efficiency.
Sustainability coordinator
Ensure sustainable practices are implemented throughout the supply chain process.
Logistics manager
Manage the movement of goods and materials within a company or across multiple organizations.
Demand planner
Use your knowledge of supply chain management to forecast demand for products and services, as well as develop strategies to effectively meet customer demands.
Inventory analyst
Manage inventory levels by tracking stock movements and implementing strategies to minimize costs, while ensuring availability.
Area manager
Leverage your supply chain expertise to oversee warehouse or distribution center operations.
